Al Bassam Heritage House

General information

Al Bassam Heritage House is located near the western gate of Unayzah city. Its construction began in 1374 AH, taking four years to complete. In 1421 AH, the house underwent restoration works and was converted into a heritage center. The house represents a unique example of Najdi architecture, as it was built on an area of 3,500 square meters, containing four sections:

In addition, the house includes a majlis, an open yard, and a dining hall. The house’s foundations are built of stone, while tamarisk wood was used to manufacture ceilings, doors and windows. This is in addition to displaying beautiful patterns and decorative formations all around the building whose architecture represents urban development in Najd.
